Car Vacuum

Here is a neat idea for guys who like to keep their ride immaculate (at least once in a while).  How about a car vacuum cleaner?  Car vacuum cleaners are a nice little luxury that he might not want to buy for himself.  OK, it might seem like a chore, but having one of these around can help to eliminate the need to go to the local car wash and wrestle with the giant vacuum cleaners they've got there.

I was looking at what was available in vacuum cleaners and found this very cool Metro Vacuum Vac N'Blo Compact Car Vacuum
.  What I like about it is that it is not only a great vacuum cleaner with all of the attachments you could want, but it also works as a blower.  They suggest that it can be used to fill air mattresses, blow dust and leaves and all sorts of fun stuff.

This car vacuum is solidly constructed from steel and has a four horsepower, 120 volt motor.  There are thirteen attachments included in the kit and it has a long six foot hose with two extensions of twenty inches each.

This vacuum cleaner is made by the Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner company.  The page describing the vacuum has an interesting little write up about the solid history of the company (it has been around since 1939).  They produce all steel vacuums.  There is also a video that you'll want to check out.

What really caught my eye about this product, was the tall steel construction.  Personally, I have gotten tired of dealing with cheap products that crack, break, or fall apart within the first few months that high own them.  After I watched the videos, I came away feeling that this was a product made by a company that takes pride in what it sells.  I also have to admit, that it looks pretty cool, and I really like the fact that it can work as a blower as well as a compact vacuum cleaner.  I think that this would be a very practical gift for a man and the steel construction makes it look just a bit more "manly" than your typical vacuum cleaner.
