I do not expect that you will be seeing these balls in play on any major tours any time soon. That isn't really the point though, is it?
Hey, it's Sponge Bob on a golf ball! This is supposed to be something fun. If you like Sponge Bob stuff, this is a winner. If you are introducing golf to a youngster, this might get them involved just a little bit quicker. I really wouldn't expect these balls to fly with the top of the line golf balls that are out there, but you could still have some good fun.
Seriously, these are real golf balls made by Wilson, not toys, so you can use them to go out and play some golf but you might not see the performance you are used to if you are an extremely serious golfer. They are not meant for very little children to throw around at each other. They are meant to be golf balls that look like Sponge Bob and they do a pretty good job of that!

The golf balls were advertised with children’s toys. I thought they would be oversized for children. They are, in fact, adult golf balls. I won’t be giving them to my grandchild.

I use them for finger strengthening, helps to keep my fingers limber!
Keep a ball, a little larger, like a superball by my bed so when I wake up I roll my feet on it, to wake up the blood in feet
Keep 2 by computer, other 2 in my Dining room!
I put them in a knee-high sock until I can use them with out them rolling ALL over the floor! They bounce too, easy to see YELLOW!!

I’m a very skilled golf semi-pro who normally uses Titleist Pro V1x balls. I decided to switch to these for a round and the results were horrible. These balls traveled about 10 yards shorter off my driver with terrible feel. The spin on these balls is inferior as well.
I would strongly not recommend purchasing these balls for tournament play.

These golf balls did exactly what I hoped they would do: serve as a motivating tactic to interest my daughter in the game of golf. She loves sponge bob and now, she enjoys learning golf even more since she gets to do it with her pal Sponger Bob. Clearly, this ball is suited for even the semi-serious player, it’s hard, it is unlikely to spin, it feels like hitting a rock / Pinnacle (when you’re used to playing Titleist, Callaway, of Nike) but it is PERFECT for the beginner who loves Sponge Bob. A+. I hope Wilson comes out with more character balls in the future, because it really has add a fun new aspect to the game for young beginners!
