You know, it sounds silly, but I have to admit that when we were trying to sell our first house, we were getting pretty desperate and actually did do this. We had yet another open house and one buyer actually showed interest and was willing to pay what we needed to sell the house for to break even. Hey, considering how much everything else costs when you are trying to get a house sold, it's a pretty good deal!
I don't know how St. Joseph would feel about being known as the "underground realtor", but I don't come up with this stuff. This could definitely be a good gift for someone who is trying to sell a house or make a living as a realtor in a somewhat challenging housing market. Here is the story:
- According to legend, if you bury this statue on the property you wish to sell and then say the prayer that is included in this kit, your house will sell.
- This resin statue looks good on its own, even if you are not looking to sell any property right now.
- Highly detailed and fabulous coloring and measures 5" high
- An illustrated Saint Card with the prayer for getting your house sold is included.
- This package includes the step by step instructions for "planting" the statue on the property you want to sell.
Also included with your underground realtor:

I am still waiting, but I realize that there is certainly no guarantee with burying a statue of Saint Joseph. I do know several people who have done this though and all of their houses did eventually sell.

I put this in the ground next to my for sale sign and the house sold in 20 days. The only down side it when I went to go and dig it up(I even marked the spot with a brick) it was gone. dug up the ground around it and have no idea were it went to. This is not the first time (from what others have told me) this has happened.
