My friends and I used to slide around like giggling idiots in our socks on linoleum and hardwood floors. That was some fun stuff. I have to admit that we were warned constantly to stop before we really injured ourselves. I just couldn't stop myself. Now the fun is here for a new generation. I guess the idea is that it won't hurt as badly if you manage to wipe out on a carpet. These carpet skates are designed to let you have the same sliding and gliding fun on carpets. It seems that there is now even a growing interest in carpet hockey and carpet bocce while using these innovative creations. Man, why didn't I think of these first?
I personally have never used these, but I think I may need to ask for a pair just for fun this holiday season. These look awesome to me. I don't know that there is a whole lot of practical use for carpet skates, but I don't need a reason. If you have a few extra minutes, check out the videos for these online.
