Used is the better option. You still get a large part of the warranty and you don't have the big depreciation you have when buying a new car. Usually the the newer (2005,2006) used cars are from rental agencies. That is not a bad thing, rental agencies maintenance their car regularly and keep the records. The Impala is a great car.
